Wayfair - Migrate from FTP to SFTP

Steps to Migrate your Extensiv Integration Manager Wayfair connection to SFTP

  1. Login to your Wayfair Account and then return to these instructions: https://partners.wayfair.com/
    1. Logging in to Wayfair first is required, or the second step will fail.
  2. Access Wayfair’s SFTP Account Setup tool to receive your new SFTP Username and create your new SFTP password: SFTP Account Setup Link
  3. Create a unique and secure password, remember it and click Save

  4. Login to Integration Manager and go to Carts > Wayfair > Edit setup
  5. Change your Username and Password to match the new ones you just created.
  6. Change the Wayfair Server option to SFTP

  7. Scroll to the bottom and click Test
  8. If it works, click OK and you're done!
    1. If the test fails, verify your new Wayfair username and password.

If WayFair Provided You a FileZilla.xml file

If Wayfair provided you with a FileZilla.xml file, you can skip the Wayfair setup above and go straight to entering the User and Pass into Integration Manager. However, the Password provided by Wayfair in the file is Base64 encoded, to decode it and see the actual password:
  1. Open the file in any text editor
  2. Enter the value in the pass field into a Base64 decoding tool (like this one) which will give you back the actual password

Once you have the decoded password:
  1. Enter the User and decoded password into Integration Manager at Carts > Wayfair > Edit setup
  2. Change the Wayfair Server option to SFTP
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Test
  4. If it works, click OK and you're done!
    1. If the test fails, verify your new Wayfair username and password.
