Setting Up Cin7


Integration Specs:

  • Supported functions:
    • Order Download
      •  Both Sales Orders and Branch Transfers can be loaded as orders.
    • Shipment Confirmation
    • Purchase Order Sync
  • Required Parameters
    • API Username
    • API Key

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to the following page and login with an Admin account: https://go.cin7.com/cloud/apiSetup
  2. Click on Add API Connection button to setup a new API connection named Integration Manager. Make sure that you click on Save button. 
  3. You will now see an API Connection named Integration Manager listed. Click on Permissions. 
  4. Make sure that READ and UPDATE are checked for Sales Orders, and READ is checked for both Products and Product Options. Click on Save to finish Permission setup. 
    1. If you will be syncing Purchase Orders through Integration Manager, select READ and UPDATE for them as well.
  5. Click Connection List at the bottom page to go back.
  6. Copy your API Username and API key. Paste those two fields into the Integration Manager Cin7 Shopping Cart setup page.
