Product Unification FAQs

This article reviews the most common questions we anticipate customers having in regard to Extensiv’s product unification project.

What does product unification look like?

Think of it as a hub of sorts. This hub will be home to all your Extensiv needs over time. As the experience grows, you’ll not only have access to the Extensiv products you currently own in one place, you’ll also have visibility into the other products we offer. As well as a centralized repository of our help centers, API documentation, technical support, and more.

Why are you unifying the experience?

Providing the new experience of our integrated suite of intuitive, best-in-class warehouse, inventory, order, and integration management platforms give third-party logistics and brands the flexibility, scale, and competitive value needed to fulfill demand without changing platforms.

These additional measures will also help further improve your and our security posture. This effort brings us one step closer to achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance.

When are you unifying the experience?

For the remainder of the year, we’ll be focused on deploying Extensiv Hub—a portal to unify the product experience—helping you and your users leverage unique, user-specific email addresses and deprecating the old, product-specific URLs you’ve used to access your various solutions.

What do I have to do?

On the day changes go live, you will be directed to the new login page to sign into your account. With our improved security, you will be prompted to confirm your email by having a code sent to your inbox. Once validated, you will be asked to set a new password. Once a new password is set, you are good to go. You will now have access to our new experience and no further action is required. We do recommend you bookmark the new URL as this will be the same for all Extensiv customers looking to access the unified Extensiv Hub.

What else should I know?

We will be updating our product’s branding to align with the new look of Extensiv. There will be no changes to functionality in order to achieve this update, however, things will look and feel more like they belong to the Extensiv ecosystem. You may notice small changes to your navigation bars at the top of the screen, but don’t worry, everything will still be accessible as it was before.

One change that will happen across all product lines is how you will create new employee accounts. In order to set these up, users will now be added via the user account manager in Hub. If you are taking advantage of more than one product with Extensiv, you will be able to quickly add a user just one time and give them access to all the different products they will be able to take advantage of.

Will this be an additional cost?

No.

Do all our customers have to provide valid emails?

Since you currently are logging in with a username and password, we will be able to leverage your current email address for accessing Hub. Just make sure you still have access to this email address to confirm your email.

Can users have extended email addresses to have multiple logins for the same email?

Yes, this is possible. Please confirm with your IT team and security practices to ensure you’re following best practices.
