Common errors and alerts with Moulton connections and how to resolve them.

Error: Moulton said: HP Connect Failed.


This alert will automatically resolve itself during the next scheduled Order Delivery. Check the specific order to see if there are other alerts preventing the order from delivering to Moulton.
2Error sending orders to WMS

Order: S5700
Error: Moulton said: Invalid field(s) length. The maximum length for SHIP-COMPANY: [ABC Corporation /Tallahassee Campus / Marketing Division] is 50 characters. The maximum length for BILL-COMPANY: [ABC Corporation /Tallahassee Campus / Marketing Division] is 50 characters.


Click View Order. On the order screen, under the Actions Menu, click Edit Order. Edit the Cust Company and Ship Company fields, making sure there are less than 50 characters in each field. The order will send to Moulton during the next scheduled Order Delivery. Moulton has strict field length requirements for a number of fields. You may get the same error for a different address field. 
3Error sending orders to WMS

Order: S5670
Error: Moulton said: Duplicated source ID has been found.


This alert means Moulton already has an order with the same Order # so Extensiv Integration Manager's attempt to send the order failed. The reasons for this could be:

  1. Integration Manager already sent the order and it is being re-sent.
  2. Integration Manager tried to send an order and Moulton errored, but when we tried again they said it already existed.
  3. Another order was created in Moulton some other way with the same order #. (E.g. Manually or through a different interface.)

Please check the Moulton system to verify the order exists and if so you can dismiss this error. 


4Error sending orders to WMS

Order: CR20534
Error: Moulton said: Offer code: [PK300179] is invalid for Group Code: [ABCD] and Clno: [EF].


  1. Verify that your Group Code is setup properly. Go to Merchant > Edit Setup and view the Moulton Settings section. If you don't know your Group Code, ask your Moulton account manager.
  2. Verify your CLNO is setup properly. Go to Carts, select the affected cart, then click Edit Setup. The Moulton Settings section is towards the bottom of the page. If you don't know your CLNO, ask your Moulton account manager.
  3. The Offer Code that is passed to Moulton comes from the items in your shopping cart. In order for this to work properly, you must set the product SKU in your shopping cart to match the Moulton Offer Code. If you still have trouble after this, verify with Moulton that the Offer Codes match and are correct.


5Error sending orders to WMSOrder: 98345793
Error: Failed to connect to moultonordervision.com port 443: Connection timed out
 

This alert will automatically resolve itself during the next scheduled Order Delivery. Check the specific order to see if there are other alerts preventing the order from delivering to Moulton.


6Error sending orders to WMSError: Bad User name or Password

Verify that your Group Code and API Password are setup properly. Go to Merchant > Edit Setup and view the Moulton Settings section. If you don't know what these should be, ask your Moulton account manager.


7Error sending orders to WMSError: Project value: [XXXXX] is invalid for Group Code: [XXXX] and Clno: [XX].

Verify that your Project Code is correct. Go to Carts > Select your Cart > Edit Setup and view the Moulton Settings section. If you don't know what your Project Code should be, ask your Moulton account manager.


8Missing Required SetupPlease go to your merchant settings and fill out all required Moulton Settings.
