LightSpeed Server response message: The child object either does not exist or is archived and cannot be updated via the parent object.

Problem

The child object either does not exist or is archived and cannot be updated via the parent object.

Solution

This alert appears during an inventory sync failure and indicates that our system was unable to make adjustments because the SKU(s) in question no longer exist or have been archived within LightSpeed. If you have previously archived or deleted the SKU(s) referenced in the alert, you will need to unarchive or recreate them, respectively. The SKU(s) must exist within LightSpeed for inventory sync to occur.
