BigCommerce Integration Overview

Workflow

  1. Extensiv Integration Manager retrieves new orders from BigCommerce
  2. Integration Manager delivers orders to WMS/OMS
  3. Integration Manager retrieves shipment tracking and inventory levels from WMS/OMS
  4. Integration Manager delivers shipment tracking and inventory levels to BigCommerce.

Required Parameters

Credentials from BigCommerce that need to be entered in Integration Manager. The setup guide will explain how to obtain these:

  • BigCommerce Email
  • BigCommerce Password

Important Integration Notes

Before setting up this connection to BigCommerce, please review these important notes to ensure the integration is successful:

Inventory

Integration Manager cannot confirm shipments unless Inventory Tracking is enabled for the item in BigCommerce.

You can enable it by finding the product in BigCommerce, clicking the Inventory tab, and selecting Track inventory for this product.

Product SKUs

The interface requires that you have product SKUs for all products and variants in order to uniquely identify which products to ship from the warehouse. The Sku is different from the automatically created Product Id in BigCommerce.

Order Status

Only orders with order status: Awaiting Fulfillment will be processed.  BigCommerce maintains 12 different order statuses (see below) and if you need additional order statuses to be accepted, contact support.

BigCommerce Order Status List:

0: Incomplete

1: Pending

2: Shipped

3: Partially Shipped

4: Refunded

5: Cancelled

6: Declined

7: Awaiting Payment

8: Awaiting Pickup

9: Awaiting Shipment

10: Completed

11: Awaiting Fulfillment

12: Manual Verification Required

Multiple Connections

The BigCommerce setup process does not support multiple connections from Integration Manager to the same BigCommerce account. If you need this, please reach out to Integration Manager support and we can perform this setup for you in the background.
